I wonder about the intersection of this and Baha'i. While in its present form Baha'i is outright pacificist, there are a lot of untranslated works.... and some years back I came across contemporary writings which described The Bab as a bandit, responsible for a great deal of mayhem and slaughter.
Baha'ism is a form of Twelver Shi'i Mahdism, which developed in the 19th c. in Qajar Iran. Most Muslims, of course, regard Baha'ism as a heretical, new religion.
